Olot is the capital of Garrotxa (in the province of Girona, Catalonia), a county with breathtaking scenery (Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park) and superb gastronomy, located just 35 minutes from the city of Girona, one hour from the Costa Brava and 90 minutes from Barcelona.

Activities

Garrotxa offers all sorts of incentive activities to be enjoyed in a unique volcanic landscape where silence reigns: a hot air balloon flight to get a bird’s eye view of the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park, a route around Pedra Tosca Park on the back of a Catalan donkey, a workshop and tasting of local products at Olot’s Plaça Mercat (Market Square), a guided tour to discover the orchids of Alta Garrotxa, an electric bike route with a picnic in the heart of an enchanted forest or a geocaching adventure at the top of the Montsacopa Volcano...
