Lloret de Mar is one of the Costa Brava’s pioneering destinations, situated in the outstanding setting of the Costa Brava, less than 1 hour far from Barcelona and Olot and 30 minutes from Girona. The Lloret Convention Bureau is a division of Lloret Turisme, created with the participation of private sector companies directly involved in the business tourism segment. Its main purpose is to promote Lloret de Mar as a standout destination on the Costa Brava for holding events, meetings, conferences, conventions and incentive trips. The Lloret Convention Bureau has more than 50 members, specialized companies in MICE sector.
 

Its strategic location on the south of the Costa Brava makes Lloret de Mar an ideal meeting point that can be reached in 1.5 hours on average from any part of Europe.

A wide range of meeting rooms cater for events of all sizes and formats. Many of the meeting rooms are located in hotels that can accommodate more than 800 people each.

In addition to a significant complementary offer that includes all kinds of activities, there is a wide-ranging leisure offer topped off with the opening of the Gran Casino Costa Brava, one of the most innovative casino concepts in Europe.

64% of the five star and luxury accommodation available on the Costa Brava is concentrated in Lloret de Mar. More than 6,000 hotel beds are grouped in the 4 and 5-star hotel categories.

Thanks to its Mediterranean climate and proximity to the sea, Lloret de Mar enjoys a year-round agreeable and moderate climate.

The 3 conference centres can cater for a total of 2,000 conference delegates. The largest auditorium can hold up to 1,000 delegates.
